Uniform
Uniform is an important part of our school. We believe it promotes a sense of identity and establishes good working habits.
An acceptance of a place at the School implies an acceptance of our uniform and dress code. Parents and carers should be aware that students arriving in incorrect uniform, will be removed to isolation until appropriate uniform replacements have been provided.
New School Logo We are excited to announce several updates regarding the school uniform as part of our rebranding process. In 2023, South Suffolk Learning Trust rebranded to become the Penrose Learning Trust, reflecting the increasing number of schools joining us from neighbouring counties.
Earlier this year we participated in the next phase of this rebranding, which included the design of a new school logo. The inspiration for Hadleigh’s logo came from local landmarks, specifically Wolves Wood. Wolves represent teamwork, education of the young (wolves educate their cubs) and determination, qualities that mirror our values of ‘aim high, work hard, be kind’. Our new school logo:
The introduction of the new school logo only affects the school jumper. This will be phased in over the next two years as current stock is sold through.
A new non-branded design for the PE kit has been selected, which is considerably cheaper. There is no expectation that parents will need to replace branded items with non-branded items and students can continue to wear branded items. However, when replacements are needed, the new items will be more affordable.
We believe these changes will enhance our school’s identity and provide better options for our students. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation during this transition.
