Catering

Hadleigh High School is committed to providing pupils with a wide range of nutritious, balanced and affordable meals throughout the school day. We work in partnership with Caterlink to ensure that pupils have access to high-quality food and a variety of healthy choices.

Break Times

During break, pupils can purchase a range of hot and cold food and drinks from the canteen and the Snack Shack.

Lunch Times

At lunchtime, pupils have a choice of freshly prepared meals, including vegetarian options, alongside a selection of regular favourites. Menus are regularly updated to provide pupils with varied and nutritious choices.

A daily Meal Deal is also available, providing pupils with a main meal or vegetarian option together with either a small drink or a pudding.

Dining Facilities

Our facilities include a spacious dining room and a picnic area at the front of the school, where the Snack Shack is also located.

Pupils may eat their food only in the dining room or in the designated picnic area at the front of the school. These areas provide pupils with comfortable spaces to enjoy their food and socialise with friends.

Water fountains are available around the school so that pupils can refill their water bottles. Pupils may drink water during lessons with their teacher's permission. Flavoured drinks and energy drinks are not permitted in school.

Our Commitment to the Environment

Hadleigh High School is committed to protecting the environment and encouraging pupils to make responsible choices. Pupils are expected to dispose of their waste appropriately and make use of the recycling facilities provided around the school.

In particular, pupils should ensure that plastic bottles and other recyclable materials are placed in the correct recycling bins. By working together, we can reduce waste, keep our school environment clean and encourage positive environmental habits.
